Gateman - Carlisle

Your new company

A well-established regional housebuilder is looking for an experienced Gateman / Traffic Marshall to support a busy new build housing development in Carlisle. This is a short-term freelance assignment for approximately two weeks, with an immediate start available.

Your new role
Working closely with the Site Management team, you will be responsible for maintaining site security, controlling access and ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians across the development.

Key duties will include:

Managing the site entrance and access point
Greeting and signing in visitors and deliveries
Directing site traffic and delivery vehicles safely
Maintaining accurate site records and visitor logs
Monitoring site security throughout the working day
Supporting the site team with general health and safety requirementsWhat you'll need to succeed

Valid CSCS Card
Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman qualification preferred
Previous experience working on a construction site
Good communication skills and a professional manner
Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approachWhat you'll get in return
