Gateman – Long-Term Opportunity in Coleford

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Gateman to join a busy construction site in Coleford. This is an excellent opportunity to secure over 12 months of continuous work on a well-established construction project.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining site security, controlling access, and ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians throughout the site.

Key Responsibilities

* Control access to and from the construction site.

* Greet visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers in a professional manner.

* Check identification and ensure all site procedures are followed.

* Direct deliveries and site traffic safely and efficiently.

* Monitor vehicle movements to maintain a safe working environment.

* Keep accurate records of visitors and deliveries.

* Maintain the security of the site entrance at all times.

* Carry out general housekeeping around the gate area.

* Support the Site Manager with additional site duties when required.

* Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed.

Requirements

Essential

* Valid CSCS Card.

* Previous experience working as a Gateman, Traffic Marshal, or on a construction site.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.

* Strong awareness of health and safety.

Desirable

* Traffic Marshal/Banksman qualification.

* Previous experience on large construction sites.

* Full UK Driving Licence.
