Gateway Manager - Freight

NEW POSITION - We are recruiting for our client based near Heathrow to oversea and lead the Import / export gateway team.

Duties:

- Manage gateway operations team and customs staff

- Oversea air, road and sea shipments and resolve any issues

- Plan week ahead and staff rotas for out of office cover

- Arrange and implement tarinign where required for staff

- Liaise with customs and ensured are cleared following regulations

- Offering quotes and liaising with projects team

- Oversee ETSF & DEP

You should have strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team but keeping a professional environment, good attention to details, have operations knowledge and understanding of customs and VAT.
