GCMS Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity to join a great client of ours as a GCMS Analyst

The key objectives of the role is utilising GCMS to analyse a variety of fragranced products. Interpreting GCMS data to produce formulations. Developing new analytical methods and libraries and mentoring junior members of the team.

Duties Include:

• Providing accurate analytical reports & products to the team in accordance with project priorities
• When necessary, to prepare and run samples on analytical instrumentation
• Maintenance & trouble shooting of analytical instruments
• Assist in developing new analytical methods

Skills desired

• Excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of raw materials and essential oil composition
• Experience operating or maintaining Agilent or other GCMS systems
• Interest in chromatography and analytical techniques
• Interest in composition of odours or chemistry
• Numeracy skills
• Problem Solving Skills
