Make a Real Impact as a Maths Tutor.

Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. You’ll provide personalised, 1:1 support in GCSE Maths. These in-person sessions in Barnet offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

• This job is in-person in the Barnet area.
• Day(s): Sundays
• Hour(s): up to 1 hr/week
• Time(s): between 12pm - 2pm
• Subject and Level: GCSE Maths
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Rate of pay: £30 p/h

What You'll Do

• Provide 1:1 tuition that is appropriate for the individuals needs and study level
• Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student
• Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment
• Monitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in
• Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager

We're looking for someone who has:

• A Bachelor’s degree 
• 1+ years of tutoring / teaching experience. 
• Experience working with students with SEN needs
• Experience working with students with speech and communication needs.
• An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• The right to be self employed in the UK
