Gearbox Technician Needed in Liverpool

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am– 5:00pm (No weekends)
• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum, depending on experience + Yearly Bonus

Our client, a specialist automotive repair centre, is currently seeking an experienced Automatic Gearbox Technician / Rebuilder to join their team in Liverpool. Key Responsibilities of the Gearbox Technician:

• Diagnose faults on modern Automatic, CVT, DCT, and DSG gearboxes
• Strip down, inspect, and rebuild gearboxes with new/replacement parts
• Take full ownership of each gearbox from start to finish
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and quality control
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive workshop environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience working with automatic and dual-clutch gearboxes
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to diagnose and repair faults effectively
• Own tools required
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• A true team player with good communication skills
