Location: London (Hybrid)

Our client, a dynamic and innovative business in the FinTech sector, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Counsel to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of legal strategy and work closely with top-tier professionals in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

• Support and lead the legal team, driving excellence in legal matters across the organisation.
• Provide strategic legal advice and briefings to the senior leadership team and board.
• Advise on mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions to support business growth.
• Oversee the Data protection officer and compliance matters for the business
• Coordinate, negotiate, and review commercial contracts
• Manage and update all legal process documents

Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a General Counsel or in a similar legal role within an international FinTech business.
• Experience in a private equity-backed business
• Strong commercial acumen and a proactive approach to legal challenges.
• Ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders and external counsel
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate complex legal situations.
