General Cover Teacher

Location: Penzance and surrounding areas
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner)
Contract: Full-time, part-time, or flexible supply work
Salary: £140-£220 per day (depending on experience)

Are you a qualified teacher who enjoys variety and flexibility? We're looking for General Cover Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Penzance. These roles are perfect for teachers who want to focus on classroom delivery without the planning and marking responsibilities.

The Role

• Deliver pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups

• Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment

• Support pupils' learning and manage classroom behaviour

• Adapt quickly to different schools and classrooms

• Provide reliable cover when permanent staff are unavailable

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• A flexible, positive attitude and willingness to cover multiple subjects

• Experience teaching within secondary schools (UK curriculum preferred)

• An Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply)
