About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable General Cover Teachers to work across secondary schools in Swadlincote and the surrounding Derbyshire areas. This flexible role is perfect for experienced teachers looking to manage their own schedule while continuing to make a positive impact in education.

As a Cover Teacher, you’ll provide classroom supervision and deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, ensuring that students remain engaged and focused in the absence of their regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons across multiple subjects following set lesson plans.

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.

Support pupils’ learning and uphold high standards of teaching and conduct.

Work flexibly across different schools as required.

About You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

Experience teaching in UK secondary schools.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

A flexible and proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt to new environments.

Reliable and professional, with a genuine passion for education.
