Location: Leicester
Shift: 07:30am to 4:30pm Mon to Thu / 07:30am to 12:30pm on Friday
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

About the Role

They are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented General Factory Operative to join the team. This role involves producing foam packaging and ensuring all products meet high standards of quality and durability.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out general factory duties including assembly, packing, and production support
Use hand and power tools to assist with manufacturing and assembly tasks
Follow work instructions, production schedules, and technical drawings where required
Measure, cut, assemble, and finish products to specification
Carry out basic quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets and deadlines
Support material handling, loading, and movement of goods within the factoryAbout You

Previous experience in a factory, manufacturing, or production environment is desirable
Comfortable using hand tools and basic machinery
Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately
Able to follow instructions and work to set procedures
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
Willing to learn new skills and develop within a manufacturing environmentApply
