General Foreman -EarthWorks

Danny Sullivan is looking for a contractor that specialize in civil engineering is looking to recruit an experienced General Foreman to join their expanding team to work on project in IPSWICH. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate as our client is offering excellent salary and package as well as fantastic opportunities for progression
Duties:
* Ensuring works are carried out productively with the safety of others a high priority
* Managing and leading Earthworks team on site
* Ensuring works are carried out to the highest standard
* Ensuring schemes are delivered on time and within budget
* Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings
* Ensuring safety is first and foremost
* Plant and Labour reconciliations
* Communication with managers to ensure all site staff including Sub Contractors work safely
* Material reconciliations and produce regular reports
* Management of staff
* Review method statements/risk assessments
* Liaise with all relevant sub-contractors
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Foreman within the civil engineering industry, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects
* Must have Earthworks Experience
* Extensive and Wide Ranging Hands on Civil Engineering & Construction Skills
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
* Excellent knowledge of construction processes, equipment and safety procedures
* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
* CSCS Black Card, SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid
* Full UK driving licence.
