Are you practical, reliable, and good with basic DIY tasks? We are looking for a hands-on Labourer / Project Operative to join a busy projects team working on retail store fit-outs and refurbishments across South East and East Anglia. This role would suit someone who is confident using basic hand tools, assembling flat-pack furniture, carrying out general labouring duties, and helping complete store installations to a high standard. Working as part of an experienced projects team, you will assist with store fit-outs, refurbishments, and general maintenance works nationwide. The role involves travelling across the UK, with occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

* Store Fit-Outs & Refurbishments

* Assembling flat-pack shelving, and display units

* Installing basic fixtures and fittings

* Assisting with shop floor refurbishments

* Moving materials and equipment on-site

* Helping install signage and promotional displays

* General labouring and site support duties

Ideal Candidate will have

* Good practical DIY skills

* Able to assemble flat-pack furniture and use basic hand tools

* Hard-working and reliable attitude

* Willingness to travel and stay away when required

* Ability to work well as part of a team

* Previous labouring, warehouse, construction, or fit-out experience beneficial but not essential

* Full UK driving licence preferred

* CSCS Card

Working Hours

* Monday to Sunday, typically between 07:00 – 19:00 (Average 50 hours per week)

* Flexibility required for overtime, weekends, and some night work
