General Labourer

Rainham Steel have an exciting opportunity for a General Labourer to join their team.

Location: Essex (RM13 9PF)

Salary: Minimum Salary of £550 p/w (£12.94p/h)

Job Type: Full – time, permanent working hours 6:00am – 3:30pm (42.5 hour per week)

General Labourer – The role:

As a result of ongoing growth and expansion, Rainham Steel a leading UK steel stockholder requires labourers to work at our Rainham, Essex depot. Offering a competitive rate of pay, a dynamic and friendly working environment, and a secure position within an established company.

General Labourer – Key Responsibilities:

- Reporting to the warehouse manager

- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment

- Cutting open bundles, counting bars and adding labels

- Assemble bundles for packing

- Physically able to cope with reasonable manual handling

- Flexible to do paid overtime when necessary

- Basic working hours are 6:00am – 3:30pm working 42.5 hour per week

General Labourer – You:

- Outstanding attention to detail

- Excellent communication both verbal and written

- Organised and motivated

- Ability to communicate with a wide range of people

- Able to work in a fast-paced pressurised environment

- You must have a good command of the English language

- Must be a good time keeper
