General Manager
Our client based in Bordon who are the UK's market leader in electropolishing and chemical surface treatment are looking for a General Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business where you will have overall responsibility of the site reporting directly to the managing director.
The Ideal candidate will have management experience from a manufacturing, surface treatment industry or a similar sector. The main objectives of this position are to oversee day-to-day site management and business strategies to ensure company revenue targets are achieved.
Salary & Benefits
* Monday- Friday - 40 hours per week 08:00-17:00
* £50-55k per annum
* Annual Bonus scheme (Discretionary)
* 25 days annual leave plus Bank holidays

Duties
* Overseeing day to day business operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
* Client Interaction /Client liaison around pricing/quoting for existing and new
* Identifying and perusing new market opportunities and partnerships
* Project management internally and externally
* Monitoring financial performance and key metrics, ensuring profitability and cost control
* Building, managing and motivating a small team fostering a positive collaborative workplace culture
* Developing long-term plans aligned with business goals
* Occasional travel to Birmingham for Internal Business meetings
Experience Required
* Proven experience in a leadership role within a small to medium sized business
* Experience in driving commercial success and managing business functions
* Project management experience (Full cycle)
* Creating and managing operational processes
* Excellent business acumen with the ability to make decisions
