Unique opening in Irlam for an individual to oversee staff, operations and daily running of a business within the animal welfare space.

MD is stretched, she is currently managing everything business related plus three sites and line management, so she needs support, it's too much for one person to tackle successfully.

It's on the other end of the spectrum to corporate business, it's a great set up, the business is doing incredible things, but they'll be honest and tell you that the structures, processes and ___ needs work. In fact, it needs a complete rehaul and fresh set of eyes.

What they want is someone that is going to come in and be the ears on the ground, the soundboard across the team, the one giving instruction and delegating but also analysing and creating new ways of working and implementing processes.

Work alongside and with the MD, not against them. MD is set on how she wants the business to run and the future plans, so it's about being on the same page as her and helping her get there.

Implement, monitor, challenge. Don't be afraid to challenge the status quo of the MD of course, but be level-headed, see the bigger picture, not just the day to day.

Flexible on backgrounds we're considering for this, but must have management experience and be the type of person that will have authority in the business, loves a challenge and thrives in putting out fires and solutions driven.
