Restaurant and Bar General Manager

Up to £42,000 per annum basic salary, uncapped bonus up to £42,000 on reaching set budgetary targets, 3 bedrooms accommodation, 28 days holidays including bank holidays, pension scheme company share option, dental care plan and more benefits.

We are currently looking for experienced and enthusiastic general manager with a can do all attitude to manage a well-recognized branded upmarket bar restaurant in Banbury. 

A license is required to apply for this role. 

You must have 2 years’ experience in a similar environment with extensive knowledge in food and beverage products service including knowledge in some cocktails. The successful candidate will be expected to manage a budget in excess on two million pounds, therefore, it is beneficial to have similar high-volume business management experience when applying for the role although it is not a compulsory requirement.

This is a contemporary bar & restaurant, has a mix feel on high street, touristic, business and family orientated customer base. Our client is keen on someone who can fit in comfortably with the restaurant environment, lead the restaurant team fluently. Must be a great man manager who is also and efficient communicator at all levels. You will be managing health & safety, team of approximately 50 staff, be involved in employee training, recruitment, cost / stock control, floor service and the P&L of entire restaurant & bar operation.

The successful candidate must have a great business acumen, who is capable of keeping an ever-evolving as well as fruitful business plan. The successful General Manager will continuously strive to exceed set budgetary targets.
