Role Overview: As the General Manager of the site, you’ll be the driving force behind site operations.
Your leadership will shape success, ensuring efficient processes, safety compliance, and a positive impact on the environment.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive site strategy aligned with the business mission and business goals.
Drive operational excellence, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
Team Management: Lead a diverse team, fostering collaboration, motivation, and professional growth.
Ensure seamless coordination across departments.
Site Operations: Oversee day-to-day activities, including material sorting, processing, and distribution.
Optimise resource utilisation, minimise waste, and enhance efficiency.
Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety protocols.
Experience Requirements: Proven track record in a similar leadership role (e.g., recycling, quarrying, or related industries).
Familiarity with fixed and mobile plant operations.
WAMITAB certification (preferred but not essential).
Skills and Qualifications: Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
Technical understanding of recycling processes and machinery.
Safety-conscious mindset.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
