Introduction to the role
To support our growth, we are recruiting for a General Manager. This role will support our Building Services Design departments to deliver technical consultancy for our low carbon building projects. The role will be desk based in our Glasgow Milngavie Office.
Key features of the role include:
Manage an engineering team and clients in delivering projects (run diary, log and allocate tasks, check progress etc)
Mange the Marketing activities (web and social media posts, mail shots and plan events)
Assist run the day to do admin tasks (HR, accounts, IT etc)
Essential Requirements
You will need to demonstrate these in your application, either through your CV or cover letter, in order to be shortlisted for interview
A Batchelors Degree
Experience in project and office management.
A passion for low carbon energy
An expert level use of Microsoft Office suite especially Excel/ Word
Ability to work with HR/ Staff management including performance management.
Managing subcontractors
Empathy with our environmental ethos and objectives
Desirable requirements
We will look favourably on candidates that are able to demonstrate these requirements, but they are not essential:
Degree in a STEM or engineering discipline
Account experience in XERO
Marketing experience (Instagram and WordPress website management)
Understanding of IT management including office 365 admin
5+ years experience in the public sector or industry
Experienced with working with Energy/ architectural

or construction in the built environment
