General Manager - FM

Cobalt Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading Managing Agent in their search for an accomplished General Manager to take the helm of one of the City of London's most iconic commercial buildings.

Totalling over 300,000 sq. ft., this flagship asset is home to a prestigious mix of blue-chip occupiers and represents a landmark in the heart of the City. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the building's operations, leading an experienced on-site team including an Engineering Manager and Assistant Building Manager, and ensuring world-class service delivery throughout.

• Full operational responsibility for the day-to-day management of the building

• Leadership and performance management of the on-site team

• Client reporting and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders

• Oversight of service charge budgets, forecasting, and cost control

• Driving excellence in occupier experience and engagement

• Ensuring compliance with all H&S and statutory requirements

• Championing ESG and sustainability initiatives

• Proven track record in managing large-scale, prime commercial office buildings

• Experience working for a managing agent or property owner

• Strong leadership skills and experience managing multidisciplinary teams

• In-depth knowledge of FM operations, building systems, and compliance

• Financial acumen with experience managing service charge budgets

• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and excellent communication skills
