Job Description - General Manager - Logistics & Operations

General Manager - Logistics & Operations,
Stoke-on-Trent,
£60,000 - £70,000 per annum

The Opportunity
An established logistics business is seeking a General Manager to lead its Midlands-based site. This isn't just about running an efficient warehouse and transport operation-it's about setting the tone for a high-performing, engaged team, while driving process improvement, customer focus, and strategic alignment with company goals.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading all site operations across warehousing, transport, and fulfilment services.
  • Creating and delivering a clear operational plan aligned with broader business strategy.
  • Owning site performance, budget, KPIs, and people development.
  • Driving continuous improvement across processes, people, and systems.
  • Building strong, solution-driven relationships with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Championing a culture of accountability, positivity, and proactive leadership.
