The role of the General Manager – Manufactured Joinery will involve:

* General Manager position responsible for managing the internal team, day-to-day manufacturing activities and driving sales across the a bespoke joinery product range

* Oversee daily operations to ensure timely, high-quality delivery

* Lead, support, and motivate production managers, team leaders and site staff, ensuring strong team performance

* Plan and coordinate labour, materials, and equipment while monitoring budgets and performance

* Act as a main client contact, handling queries and resolving issues professionally

* Maintain systems, health & safety standards, and continuously improve processes and ways of working

* May be a requirement to visit site when needed

The ideal applicant will be General Manager – Manufactured Joinery with:

* Must have Management experience across the building supplies industry

* Ideal experience within merchant, trade, timber, joinery or furniture environments

* Highly advantageous to have experience & understanding of manufacturing processes

* Open to a senior candidate looking to take the next step into a management position

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Self-motivated, driven, hungry and ambitious

* Computer literate
