Job Description - General Manager - Prestigious Contract Catering Account London
My client is a leading independent contract caterer who looking for an experienced and charismatic General Manager to assist in leading their large foodservice contract based at their beautiful, state-of-the-art and highly prestigious client site in London.
You will lead a large team in managing this high-profile business across their substantial staff dining, events and hospitality services. This role is predominantly Monday to Friday with some weekend activity.
The General Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality of day-to-day service delivery in all areas, recruiting & training FOH staff, rota & stock management, menu & menu description upkeep, offer development & innovation, marketing & customer engagement, and additional administrative duties including payroll.
About You
Skilled and experienced ideally in contract catering/B&I operations - at least 2 years at GM level is essential
Passionate about great food and delivering service excellence
Self-motivated & a positive attitude - you will be flexible and hard-working with a high degree of integrity
Desire to make an impact on guests and team members
A can-do work ethic and the ability to take the initiative on projects
Ability to lead, motivate, and build an efficient team
A strong knowledge of new food and beverage trends
Be able to successfully and consistently communicate team wins, priorities, best practices and operational changes
Strong knowledge of business compliance and financials with the ability to monitor budgets, manage labour control and operating expenses.
