General Operative – 1 week

Our client, a Global Packaging Manufacturer, is currently seeking a Forklift driver to join their well-established team on an 1 week temporary basis.

Our client is looking for an immediate start for an 1 week assignment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Sorting and handling lids in line with production requirements.

* Assisting with general production and operational activities within the cans manufacturing facility.

* Supporting the manufacturing team with routine operational tasks as required to meet production demands.

* Assisting with the movement, handling, and preparation of materials and products.

* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times.

* Adhering to all site health and safety procedures, policies, and quality standards.

* Following instructions from supervisors and working effectively as part of a team.

* Demonstrating a reliable, flexible, and positive approach to support the day-to-day operational needs of the business.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Proven experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred.

* Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated

* Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory environment, ideally within a high-speed production setting essential

* Hands-on experience operating and maintaining mechanical equipment such as seamers, palletisers, slitters, and flex lines.
