Location: Runcorn

£26,000 - £29,000 plus cycle to work scheme, life assurance childcare vouchers, employee assistance program, death in service, pension and 25 days holiday excluding statutory days

Hours of work: 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday with time off in lieu for additional hours worked

We are a tertiary water treatment company specialising in industrial water treatment and have been established for over 15 years.

Due to growth, we are now looking for a General Operative to join our experienced team and help drive the business forwards.

Your responsibilities will be but not limited to:

• Operate and maintain production machinery and equipment
• Assist in the assembly and testing of manufactured units
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
• Keep work areas clean and organised
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the Supervisor
• Assist with inventory management and stock control
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Basic mechanical skills and the ability to operate machinery
• Strong attention to detail ad commitment to quality
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem solving skills
