General Operative

Red Recruitment are currently recruiting for a General Operative on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing and production business based in Redditch.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in a fast-paced production environment who has previously operated a Bendi FLT and/or Reach Truck as part of their daily duties.

The Role:

Working within a busy production facility, you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations, ensuring materials are supplied to production lines, and assisting with the movement of finished goods throughout the site.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operating Bendi FLT and/or Reach Truck to move raw materials and finished products

* Supplying production lines with materials as required

* Assisting with machine loading and unloading

* Packing, labelling and preparing finished products for dispatch

* Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet required standards

* Maintaining accurate production records where required

* Supporting general production and warehouse activities

* Adhering to all health, safety and quality procedures

Candidate Requirements:

* Previous exposure to a manufacturing or production environment

* Experience operating a Bendi FLT and/or Reach Truck

* FLT licence preferred, although candidates with proven experience will also be considered

* Ability to work to production targets and deadlines

* Strong attention to detail and quality standards

* Good communication skills

* Reliable, hardworking and flexible approach to work
