Job Title: General Operator I - Manual Packing

Location: Swindon (Kingfisher Drive)

Pay Rate: £13.86/hr + 33% Night Shift Allowance (Total Effective Rate: ~£18.43/hr)

Working Pattern: Full-Time | Mon - Fri | Night Shift (23:00 - 07:00) | 37.5 hrs per week

Contract Duration: 6 Months (Temporary / Replacement)

About the Role

We are recruiting for a General Operator to join our team in Swindon, working within a high-standards, regulated pharmaceutical cleanroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

Execute manual packing of product-filled vials in accordance with strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Carry out correct cleanroom gowning, cleaning, and maintenance procedures.

Assist with material handling, stock checks, labelling, packaging, and in-process weight checks.

Complete all operational documentation following Data Integrity and cGMP principles.

Report any non-conformance immediately to Area Leaders or Quality Assurance.

Requirements

GCSE-level Mathematics and English (or equivalent).

Prior experience in a regulated production environment (pharmaceutical, food, or FMCG) is preferred.

Basic understanding of GMP, GDP, and Data Integrity standards.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain concentration over extended periods.

Hiring Process

Interview: 1-stage on-site interview (30-45 mins) with the Hiring Manager.
