The Role:

We are seeking a driven and experienced General Practice Director with current Responsible Individual (RI) status, or someone actively working towards it. This role will play a key part in the continued growth of our firm, both in service delivery and business development. You will oversee a portfolio of clients, supervise teams, sign off on audits, and help steer the strategic direction of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as RI on audit engagements (if RI-qualified), overseeing quality and regulatory compliance
• Deliver high-quality audit, accounts preparation, and corporate/personal tax services
• Lead and mentor a team of qualified and trainee accountants
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of clients, ensuring strong relationships and exceptional service
• Participate in practice development, networking, and marketing initiatives
• Contribute to strategic decision-making and operational planning as part of the leadership team
• Ideally, bring a fee-following, or demonstrate the ability to grow a book of business

Requirements:

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Current RI status, or very close to achieving RI (support will be provided)
• Strong experience in audit, accounts, and tax within general practice
• Proven leadership and client relationship management skills
• Commercially minded with an appetite for growth and business development
• Fee-following highly desirable, but not essential
• Commitment to working onsite in Central London five days a week
