General Production Operative - Windows

We are looking for a uPVC Windows Fabricator to join our busy manufacturing plant in Blackburn. You will be an integral part of the manufacturing team, encompassing CNC machining, sawing, welding and beading processes to ensure our daily production schedule is achieved to the standards expected by our customers.

Skills and experience required for the role;

• Experience with a Double head mitre saw
• CNC Machining Centre: Automated version of a Double Head, preferred skill set.
• Frame Preparation: Drain Slot, lock routing, handle preparation.
• Inline Welder, manual operation of joining pieces. Look for number of heads as experience, i.e. 3 head & 4 head are preferable.
• Quad Welder, Automated 4 Head welder, CNC driven
• 6 or 8 head horizontal welder, CNC driven, any experience of loading, programming etc.
• Window Hanging: Ability to add hinges and handles to sash and then hang them onto an outerframe, anything around that discipline is desirable.
• Glazing experience in a factory based environment
• Bead Saw, both manual and CNC driven
