Working alongside the class teacher and wider school team, you'll provide valuable support to pupils both academically and pastorally, helping them feel confident, engaged and ready to learn.

The ideal candidate:

Has a genuine passion for supporting children and their learning

Can build positive and professional relationships with pupils

Is patient, approachable and able to provide encouragement when pupils need it

Can work effectively alongside teachers and other members of staff

Is reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable

Holds an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or is willing to apply

Is registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or is willing to register

Can provide two professional references relating to working with children
