Generator Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Generator Engineer to work for a large national company.
They work with a range of industries from construction through to festivals and schools. Basically anyone needing temporary power needs. The client is looking for an experienced, hard-working engineer who is multi skilled and has experience with generators or engines.

Job Title – Field Service Engineer
Location – Field Based (depot based in Birtley)
Salary Package – £35k (£17.25 per hour) + company van + excellent overtime rates (overall earnings £45-50K)
Main Duties:
* Servicing and maintaining generators
* Report directly to the Depot Manager
* Fault finding.
* Mechanical and Electrical repairs
* Depot / onsite duties
* Liaising directly with customers
* Adhere to Health & Safety guidelines
Requirements:
* A qualification within plant engineering / mechanical engineering
* Experience of generator engineering
* Field service experience
* Full UK driver’s licence
