Generics Trader

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Generics Trader to join a leading healthcare company based in the Bedfordshire area. As the Generics Trader, you will be responsible for driving the success of our client's trading team by sourcing and trading generic pharmaceutical products within both UK and international markets.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Generics Trader will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Source and trade generic medicines, ensuring competitive pricing and maximising profit opportunities.

2. Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, wholesalers, pharmacies, and healthcare providers.

3. Identify market shortages, opportunities, and pricing trends to stay ahead of the competition.

4. Manage customer accounts, enquiries, quotations, and order fulfilment, ensuring compliance with GDP and MHRA requirements.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Generics Trader, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a related field.

2. Proven industry experience in pharmaceutical trading, procurement, or sales.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
