We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Geography ECT to join our outstanding school in Barking. You will inspire students to explore the world around them through geographical inquiry and discovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially 5).


• Prepare students for GCSE examinations.


• Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.


• Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including fieldwork and technology.


• Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum.


• Participate in departmental meetings and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Degree in Geography or a related subject.


• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Geography curriculum.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• A passion for inspiring young minds and a commitment to student success.
