Our outstanding Barking school is looking for a dedicated and innovative Geography ECT to join our dynamic team. You'll play a crucial role in developing students' geographical knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially 5).


• Prepare students for GCSE examinations and support their progression.


• Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.


• Utilize a range of teaching methods, including fieldwork and technological resources.


• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Geography curriculum.


• Participate in departmental activities and contribute to the wider school community.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.


• Degree in Geography or a related subject.


• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for geographical exploration.


• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
