Geography position in Barnet - ASAP start

An Independent school in Barnet requires a dedicated Geography Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary, full-time position. The ideal Geography Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. We require a passionate Geography Teacher for an immediate start.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.


• Prepare students for upcoming assessments and examinations.


• Develop students' understanding of geographical concepts and global issues.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.


• Contribute to the development of the geography curriculum and resources.


• Organise and lead geography-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Geography.


• Proven experience in teaching geography at secondary level.


• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for geography.


• Excellent communication and organisational skills.


• Ability to engage and motivate students.


• Availability to start ASAP.
