Are you an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher with a passion for bringing the world into the classroom? A well-respected secondary school in Southend is looking for a dedicated educator to join their team from September 2025. This full-time, permanent position is open to both Early Career Teachers and experienced professionals who are excited to engage students in the study of our planet, its people, and its processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Encourage independent thinking, debate, and analysis.
• Plan and assess learning to support pupil progress and achievement.
• Take part in department planning and whole-school initiatives.
• Promote an inclusive, respectful classroom culture.
• Contribute to fieldwork, enrichment trips, and wider school life.

Qualifications and Experience:

• QTS and a degree in Geography or a related subject (essential).
• Open to Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Passionate about global topics, environmental issues, and geography education.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student well-being.
• Willingness to participate in extra-curricular and enrichment activities.
