A forward-thinking secondary school in Wickford is seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join their humanities department from September 2025. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for Early Career Teachers and experienced educators alike who are excited about bringing the world into the classroom.

Whether you're exploring climate change, migration, or map skills, you’ll be helping students understand their world—and their place in it.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Inspire students to think critically about the world and their environment.
• Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs.
• Contribute to curriculum development and field trip planning.
• Create a classroom environment that promotes respect, discussion, and discovery.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in whole-school activities.
• Support student progress through clear feedback and supportive guidance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• QTS and a degree in Geography or a related subject (essential).
• Open to Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for geography and a commitment to making it accessible to all learners.
• Willingness to contribute to school enrichment and extra-curricular activities.
• A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
