Geography Teacher (ECT)

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher of Geography to join our Humanities department. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin your teaching career in a supportive, well-resourced school with a strong commitment to professional development and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential

• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively

• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities

• Participate in the full life of the school, including CPD and departmental meetings

Person Specification

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it

• Passionate about Geography and committed to high standards in the classroom

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Eager to learn, reflect, and grow as an educator

• Ability to foster positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
