An Outstanding Girls' school in Enfield is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher for a permanent, full-time position starting in September. The successful Geography Teacher will inspire female students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the wonders of the world and its people.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective Geography Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.


• Prepare students thoroughly for GCSE Geography examinations.


• Develop students' understanding of geographical concepts, issues, and fieldwork skills.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback as a Geography Teacher.


• Contribute to the ongoing development of the geography curriculum and resources.


• Encourage a curiosity about the world and its diverse environments and cultures.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Geography.


• Proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).


• Strong and comprehensive knowledge of physical and human geography.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored for engaging girls.


• Ability to differentiate instruction effectively to meet diverse learning needs.
