The Position

As a Geography Teacher, you will play a crucial role in developing students' understanding of the physical and human landscapes, equipping them with essential skills for analyzing spatial patterns, environmental issues, and global challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a deep understanding of geographical concepts and skills.


• Design and implement creative lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum and school's educational philosophy.


• Employ a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure student engagement.


• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.


• Collaborate with colleagues within the Geography department and across the wider school community to enrich the educational experience for all students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related discipline.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.


• Demonstrated experience teaching Geography at the secondary level.


• A passion for geography and a commitment to inspiring students to become lifelong learners.


• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
