About the Role

A vibrant Independent school in Islington requires an enthusiastic Geography Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary period. You will deliver inspiring geography lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography Teacher lessons, covering physical and human geography.


• Prepare students for assessments and projects.


• Develop students' geographical understanding and skills.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.


• Contribute to the development of geography resources.


• Organise and potentially lead geography-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Geography.


• Proven experience teaching geography at secondary level.


• Strong geographical knowledge and skills.


• Excellent communication and organisational skills.


• Ability to engage and motivate students.
