About the Role

An Outstanding school in Watford is looking for a dedicated Geography Teacher to join their humanities department from September, on a temporary basis. You'll deliver engaging geography lessons across Key Stages 3-5.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.


• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.


• Develop students' understanding of geographical concepts and global issues.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.


• Contribute to the development of the geography curriculum and resources.


• Organise and lead geography-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Geography.


• Proven experience in teaching geography at secondary level, including A-Level.


• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for geography.


• Excellent communication and organisational skills.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
