GSL Education London Branch is looking for a passionate and dedicated Geography/Humanities Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive comprehensive secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Geography/Humanities Teacher who specialises in Geography but also has experience teaching other Humanities subjects.

If you’re a creative and motivated Geography/Humanities Teacher who can inspire young minds and bring the subject to life, we want to hear from you! You will play a key role in supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning in a dynamic classroom environment.

• Deliver engaging and well-planned Geography lessons

• Teach additional Humanities subjects such as History, RE, or Citizenship

• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Support student progress through effective feedback and differentiation

• Work collaboratively with the Humanities department

• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and expectations

• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)

• Specialism in Geography, with experience in other Humanities subjects

• Previous teaching experience in a UK secondary school (preferred)

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• A proactive and enthusiastic attitude

• Right to work in the UK
