The Role

Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4

Delivering engaging lessons covering physical and human Geography

Supporting students preparing for GCSE Geography

Planning, marking and assessing student progress

Adapting lessons to support different abilities

Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement

Working collaboratively with Humanities departments

The Ideal Candidate

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Have experience teaching Geography within a UK secondary school

Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4

Confident delivering GCSE Geography

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

Passionate about helping students understand the world around them

ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply

An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
