Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

We are looking for a Site Technician / Driller to join a growing and innovative team of Geotechnical and Environmental Engineers. This is a great opportunity to build a career in a growing industry with plenty of room to learn and advance. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided. We are seeking individuals who are hard-working, reliable, and focused for this hands-on, outdoor role in geotechnical and environmental fieldwork.

Responsibilities of this Geotechnical Site Technician role include:

• Perform geotechnical and environmental fieldwork including ground water and gas monitoring, borehole logging, soil sampling etc.

• Operate drilling equipment and machinery to contribute to rotary drilling and cable percussion.

• Assist in site investigations and data collection

• Follow safety protocols and procedures

• You will be part of a team that prioritizes safety and follows strict protocols to ensure a secure work environment

To be considered for this role you must:

• (ideally) have site work/construction experience and be happy in a site based role.
• (ideally) have a degree in geology, geotechnical engineering, geoscience, environmental science etc.
• Live in Cornwall.
• Have a full UK Driving Licence.
• Have a full right to work in the UK.
