A prestigious Independent school in Barnet is seeking a dedicated German Teacher to join their modern foreign languages department. You'll inspire a love of the German language and culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging German Teacher lessons, covering grammar, vocabulary, and cultural topics.


• Prepare students for examinations and assessments.


• Develop students' language skills and intercultural understanding.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.


• Contribute to the development of the German curriculum and resources.


• Organise and lead German-related extracurricular activities, such as language clubs and cultural exchanges.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in German.


• Proven experience in teaching German at secondary level.


• Strong language skills and a passion for German language and culture.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
