Salary: £25.00 per hour

A Glazier is required, working for a reputable local contractor in partnership with a local council. The role will involve carrying out responsive glazing repairs and maintenance works on domestic properties, with a strong focus on overhauling and repairing windows. Candidates should have experience working on domestic windows and be capable of completing associated glazing and maintenance works to a high standard. Previous social housing or domestic maintenance experience is essential.

Daily responsibilities:

Carrying out window repairs, maintenance and overhauling works on domestic properties
Overhauling windows, including adjusting, repairing and replacing worn or damaged components
Repairing and replacing glass, window hardware, seals and associated fittings where required
Completing associated multi-trade works where required
Providing a high level of customer service to residents
Ensuring all works are completed safely and efficiently
Participating in a rotational on-call schedule for emergency repairs

Requirements of a Glazier:

Must have proven experience as a Glazier, with strong experience in window overhauling
Must have experience carrying out repairs and maintenance to domestic windows
Must have a full UK manual driving licence
Must have previous social housing or domestic maintenance experience
