We are seeking a skilled operative whose primary trade is Glazing, with the ability to carry out a range of additional maintenance and repair works across a social housing portfolio. You will be responsible for responsive repairs, property maintenance, and refurbishment works within both occupied and void residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

* Carrying out glazing repairs and replacements, including windows, doors, sealed units, and associated components

* Diagnosing faults and undertaking effective repairs

* Delivering responsive maintenance and refurbishment works

* Working within occupied and void social housing properties

* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements

* Managing jobs via PDA systems (training provided)

Essential Skills & Experience

Core Trade:

* Glazing repair and replacement experience

Multi-Trade Skills:

* Carpentry

* Plumbing

* Patch plastering

* General building repairs

Requirements

* Experience working within social housing or residential maintenance environments

* Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

* Excellent customer service and communication skills

* NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Glazing or a relevant trade

* Full UK Driving Licence

* DBS check (or willingness to undertake one)

* Right to work in the UK
