Glazing CAD Designer

My client is seeking a Glazing CAD Technician in Central London to produce detailed CAD drawings and provide design support for glazing systems on commercial and residential projects.
The role requires experience with glazing systems, strong AutoCAD skills, and the ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Qualifications
* Experience with aluminium and steel curtain walling, windows and doors, and internal glass partitions and fire-rated glazing systems.
* Strong drawing ability and meticulous attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaborative approach.
Responsibilities
* Produce accurate CAD drawings for aluminium/steel window, door and curtain walling systems.
* Create CAD drawings for internal glazing, partitions and fire-rated screens.
* Coordinate with client design teams, architects and contractors to finalise drawing packages.
* Carry out measured site surveys and translate results into designs.
* Support project teams with technical coordination and design resolution.
* Prepare drawings for client approval, fabrication and installation stages.
* Ensure compliance with building regulations and fire safety requirements.
* Assist in glass schedules, materials take-offs and technical submittals.
* Maintain drawing registers and project documentation.
* Work with factory and installation teams to ensure designs are practical.
* Attend project sites and meetings and perform site visits as needed.
* Contribute to improving design processes and documentation
