Global Account Manager - Data Centre Sector

London | £90,000-£115,000 + 30% Bonus + Company Car/Allowance + Package

Clear Engineering Recruitment is working with a leading global infrastructure business to recruit a Global Account Manager to grow its EMEA data centre division.

Managing 4-5 major colocation data centre developer accounts, you'll focus on expanding the business's presence across gray-space infrastructure, including power distribution, switchgear, busway, cooling, BMS and controls, security and fire safety.

This is a strategic, commercially focused role, building relationships with key stakeholders from early design through to construction and securing opportunities before formal tenders are released.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute account strategies across major EMEA data centre developers.

Generate new business and influence projects at early design stages.

Build relationships with design, engineering, construction and procurement teams.

Expand sales across power, cooling, controls, security and other critical infrastructure solutions.

Work with regional sales teams and technical specialists to convert opportunities into revenue.

Manage strategic agreements, pipelines and long-term account growth.

Experience Required

5-10 years' experience in business development or commercial roles within data centres or mission-critical infrastructure.

Proven success winning new business and influencing projects before tender.

Strong understanding of the data centre construction lifecycle.

Experience managing strategic accounts and working across international teams.

Background with an infrastructure OEM, mission-critical contractor, engineering consultancy or similar business.

Fluent business English and willingness to travel 25-50% across EMEA.
