Job Description - Global Account Manager - Agriculture - Market Research

We are actively seeking a Global Account Manager who will be accountable for specified clients and operating across the business to grow the business for sustainable, profitable revenue growth, organic (and enterprise level opportunity spotting)

Role Purpose

You will be expected to manage global accounts, overseeing all aspects of the clients business, you will own the build, maintenance and execution of account plans, managing customer queries, finding and implementing solutions, and maintaining a positive relationship. You will act as an ambassador of Kynetec brand and will look for new opportunities to further develop the business.

Job Description
Achievement of regional revenue and margin targets:
o You plan sales and work with the finance team to finalize budgets for the fiscal year
o You conduct sales meetings and collaborate with Client Success teams to prepare proposals based on client needs
o You follow-up on sales initiatives and drive those towards success (contracts)
o You are responsible for progressing sales bookings and invoicing
o You keep track of sales revenue and gross margin targets for your clients

Account management & client presentations
o Build relationships with key client stakeholders
o You handle client complaints & find solutions to issues raised, collaborating with colleagues in a positive way on each matter.
o You respond to specific questions clients may have with regards to our data and capabilities
o You prepare for personal or online presentations and contribute to those presentations together with your colleagues.

Driver of Business Development:
o You work on sales pipelines, by deepening the relationship with the existing clients, widening our touch points, finding new budget holders within our existing customers.
o You search and qualify new prospects

Collaboration with Internal Stakeholders:
o You escalate client issues, communicate steps taken, future steps and client needs internally.
o You partner with internal resources to drive additional value and expertise
o You build effective relationships and develop influence with UK, Western Europe, and Global Client Success team and Global Account Managers
o You give input/feedback to further optimize our presentation documents for the future

Thought Leadership:
o You develop trends and insights to be used for thought leadership or marketing

Skills required
· You have an understanding of the innerworkings of agricultural companies and expertise in agricultural markets – crop protection, seed, equipment, and/or agtech
· You can translate customer business questions into market research solutions
· You have a good understanding of the agricultural market
· You enjoy presenting for large and/or senior level audiences – both during personal presentations and online presentations
· You have experience in working directly with clients or have been at the Industry side
· Familiarity with using and improving CRM (e.g. SalesForce, hubspot, Netsuite)
